What are my options?

If you are pregnant, there are three courses of action that you can consider – abortion, adoption or parenting.

Each option involves different gains and losses.

It is normal to feel ambivalent (change your mind often) about this decision.

Make sure you take time to think about what you will do. Don’t let anyone pressure you or rush you.

Having accurate information will help you make the best decision possible. It can also help to be made aware of things you might not have considered.

Our trained female support workers can help you with this process in a completely confidential, supportive environment.

Please note: Barrie Pregnancy Resource Centre is not a medical facility. We do not perform or refer for abortions. We provide non-judgmental, compassionate support and information on all pregnancy options. Our services are not intended as a substitute for professional counselling or therapy.
