Life is messy.
It doesn’t matter whether you wear a business suit or faded jeans; all of us experience challenges of one kind or another.
Unplanned pregnancy can be one of those challenges.
At Barrie Pregnancy Resource Centre we know that sometimes unplanned pregnancy feels overwhelming. We know that having a safe place to talk can make all the difference.
Barrie Pregnancy Resource Centre opened in December 2006 to provide support and assistance to anyone facing unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy related difficulty. BPRC is a non-profit, charitable organization, supported by individuals, businesses and churches in our community.
BPRC is a Christian organization. We are absolutely convinced that there is a God … and that people matter to God. Your life is so precious to Him. You might never have thought about God or why you exist. But sometimes facing a difficult situation causes people to think about spiritual questions. If you would like to find out more about God’s care for your life and situation, we are always happy to share. Please know that although we are happy to talk about spiritual matters, there is no pressure or expectation to do so. Our focus is caring for you.
We Value People – We treat each person with dignity and respect

We Don’t Judge – We are a safe place where nobody has to pretend
We Hope – Some people might see problems, we see possibilities
We Empower – We provide a place for people to find their ‘voice’ … and we cheer for the underdog
We Equip – We teach skills to help people do their best
We Are Wholistic – We long for people to thrive in their body, mind, emotions, spirit and relationships
We Love Jesus – God’s love is the reason for everything we do
That every person would be celebrated as the beautiful handiwork of God
